D.J. Brooks is a fiction writer whose work crosses borders — geographic, cultural, and moral. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati (MFA) and Florida State University (BFA), he writes novels and short stories that explore the weight of place and the lives lived within it, from the American South to the California borderlands and beyond. His work has appeared in Killer Nashville Magazine. He is currently at work on his next novel.
